Privacy Policy

What this site is
ToolKitHub ("we", "us") provides free online tools at this domain. This policy explains what information is collected when you use the site and the tools on it.
Tool input data
Most tools on this site — including the word counter, JSON formatter, password generator, case converter, and image tools — run entirely in your browser using JavaScript. The text, images, or other data you enter into these tools is never transmitted to our servers. Each tool's page states clearly whether it processes data client-side.
If a future tool requires server-side processing, that tool's page will say so explicitly, and this policy will be updated to describe what is sent and why.
Information we do collect
- Server logs: our web server and/or hosting provider may automatically log standard technical data (IP address, browser user-agent, requested URL, timestamp) for security and troubleshooting purposes.
- Contact form: if you use our contact form, we receive the name, email address, and message you provide, solely to respond to you.
- Account data: if this site offers optional account registration, we store the name and email address you provide and a securely hashed password. We never store passwords in plain text.
Cookies and local storage
We use browser local storage for basic functionality (such as remembering that you've dismissed the cookie notice) and may use cookies for analytics purposes (see below). We do not use cookies to track you across other websites.
Analytics and advertising
[Placeholder — update to match what you actually use.] This site may use a web analytics service (e.g. Google Analytics) to understand aggregate traffic patterns, and may display third-party advertising (e.g. Google AdSense) to cover hosting costs. These services may set their own cookies and collect data such as your approximate location (from IP address) and browsing behavior, governed by their own privacy policies:
If you are in the European Economic Area or UK, you have the right to decline non-essential cookies via the consent banner shown on your first visit.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data we hold about you (such as a contact form submission or account record). To make such a request, use our contact page.
Children's privacy
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
