Image Compressor
Shrink an image's file size by adjusting quality and maximum dimensions — handy for getting a photo under an upload limit, or just taking a multi-MB photo down to a few hundred KB. Everything is processed locally using the Canvas API; your image never leaves your browser.
How compression works here
Lowering quality re-encodes the image with more aggressive JPEG compression (fewer bits per pixel). Lowering max width actually shrinks the pixel dimensions — the biggest lever for file size on large photos straight from a phone camera. Combine both for the smallest result that still looks acceptable.
