Password Generator
Create a strong, random password in one click. Choose the length and which character types to include, then copy it straight to your clipboard. The password is generated entirely in your browser using the Web Crypto API's cryptographically secure random number generator — it is never sent over the network or logged anywhere.
How this generator works
Passwords are generated using crypto.getRandomValues(), the Web
Crypto API's cryptographically secure random number source — not
Math.random(), which is not safe for security purposes. Nothing you
generate here is sent to a server or stored anywhere; refresh the page and it's gone.
Common questions
How long should my password be?
Most security guidance recommends at least 12–16 characters with a mix of character types. Longer is generally stronger than more complex but shorter.
Is it safe to generate a password online?
Since this tool runs entirely in your browser and never transmits the result anywhere, it's as safe as any local password generator. Still, avoid reusing the same password across multiple accounts — use a password manager to store unique ones.
